Pretty Pony

Its the school holidays so just managed to squeeze in one card this week.  I have spent all day dancing on the Wii to Abba with my little girl.  So while she is doing a bit of colouring I thought I would make a quick post.

Here it is:

I have used the digital stamp set called Something Magical and Simply Enchanting along with some digital papers called Pretty Princess Paper all available from My Time Made Easy.

I have also added some ruffle edge ribbon, some paper flowers and lots of glitter!!!

This card is for the challenge at The Ribbon Girl called lets ruffle.  The challenge is to use the colours in the photo below and to use ruffles.

Pretty Palette Last Challenge

I have some very sad news, this will be the last My Time Made easy Pretty Palette Challenge. But please look on the website and blog for future releases of My Time Made Easy products which are always very exciting and stunning projects to make.

So here is the last colour challenge:

The colours are from the Wild Flowers paper pack which you can find HERE.

and here is my card:

I have used digital stamp set called Chase Your Dreams.  I have coloured the image using promarkers and added a few glossy accents.

I have finished my card with some ruffle edge ribbon, paper roses and a glittered star.

I love the colours of the papers as they are so fresh and just a little reminder that spring is just around the corner.

Love, Wedding, Anniversary!

Here is a card I made at my crafty play date.  I am getting better, I actually completed a card this time.  Normally I have to bring it home to finish off!!

I have used papers and digi stamp that I recently downloaded from Pink Petticoat which can be found HERE and HERE.

I have added some glitter to the typewriter and left it very plain.

I have also added some paper flowers and some black pearls and some twine.

This card is for the challenge at Cupcake Craft.

My little girl and I made these and just wanted to share them with you as she is so proud of them.

Here are her little heart hanging decorations made from salt dough.  We painted them and added some glitter and butterflies.

Basic Masking

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.  Just a little card to share as I had a go at basic masking.  I saw the challenge at Just us Girls and thought I would try it.  I have kept it simple and just used a cupcake stamp from Kanban.  You will find tutorials on how to do this technique over at Just us Girls.

Here is a close up of the cupcakes:

I have coloured the cupcakes using promarkers with some added glossy accents.

This card is for the following challenges:

Quick Card

Well I am calling it a quick card but it took longer to pick the papers than to put the card together.  I can't believe how little I have embellished it.  Sometimes maybe less is more.  I tried to add extra flowers, bling etc... to it but it didn't look right.

So here it is:

I have added a simple digi stamp and just coloured the flowers and added some glossy accents.

This card is for the Yellow and Grey challenge at Cupcake Craft Challenges.

and the sketch challenge at Mojo Monday

My Little Cupcake

Cannot think of anything better to do when you are recovering from a tummy bug than craft!!  Both my daughter and I have had upset tummies, so cuddles all round Sunday night and kept her off school on Monday.

So here is my sick day card:

I have used a selection of different coloured spotty paper.  The stamped image is from Kanban and I have paper pieced the case and added some glossy accents to the ribbon.  The stick pin is from The Ribbon Reel and the sentiment is from Pink Petticoat.

I have then used some twine on the bunting and added some ribbon to my paper flowers, which are made using a Spellbinders Die.  I have then added some lace to finish.

The card is for the challenge over at The Ribbon Reel and just look at the gorgeous photo for inspiration.

The challenge is to use the photo for inspiration and use yellow, pink, ribbon, flower, lace and twine.

The card layout is taken from the challenge at The Sweet Stop.

A Blue Cherry on Top

I saw this lovely sketch over at Freshly Made Sketches and thought I would combine it with the colour challenge at Divas By Design which is blue, brown and cream.

Here is the sketch:

I found it so difficult to make as it needed to be CAS and my cards aren't clean and simple.  I also wanted to make the card for a male and yet again found this hard.  I cannot make a card without adding extra embellishments so I ended up adding a flower, so is it still a male card?

I have added a few glossy accents to the ice cream and to go with the colour scheme I made my cherry blue!!  I think a pop of red would have been nice but thought I better keep within the colour scheme, I will maybe do that next time.

Enjoy your weekend!!!
