Its another fortnightly challenge over at The Ribbon Reel.  The challenge is to use the photo below for inspiration and to include the colours in the picture.  Also to use a tea element, flowers and ribbon or lace.

Isn't the photo just so pretty?  I love all the organza and tulle so of course I hade to make my card using it and made another organza flower.

I have used papers, sentiment and digi stamp all from Pink Petticoat.  I think I use it alot but I just love the papers and they are so easy to store, right there on your computer. just print and go.

I have added some strips of ribbon, papers flowers and lace to finish.

Come on Sunshine!!!

Another wet day which means I get to do more crafting even though I should be doing some housework,  oops never mind!!!

So here is my wet day creation:

I have used papers and sentiment from Pink Petticoat.  The stamps are from Kanban which I have paper pieced.  I love this technique especially as my colouring with pro markers isn't very good and needs more practice.

This card is for the following challenges:

A Gem of a Challenge - Challenge 49 - Buttons, bows, bling and butterflies
Daring Card Makers  - You're So Sweet
Fairy Tale Challenge Blog - Challenge 44 - Soft Colour Tones

Soft and Sweet

Its my last week as The Shabby Tea Room's guest designer.  I have had great fun working alongside some really talented ladies.  Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

To this weeks challenge and its to create a card or project inspired by the colours in the photo below.

I have made a card and a matching treat box using papers from Pink Petticoat and the sweetie jars came from HERE.

My daughter the crafter

I just had to share this with you all.  My daughters Mother and Father's Day present.  My husband and I were so thrilled when she came home from school with these.

She had made a bracelet for me and a little clip photo holder for daddy.  I just love the photo that her school teacher had taken holding the heart, so sweet.

Well done sweetie!!!

Sunday Best

The sun has finally made an appearance but its very windy.  Think I may I have spoke to soon.  Where is our summer?  I have got out the gorgeous papers from Pink Petticoat again, I love them and also a digi stamp from Sliekje Digi Stamps.

I have paper pieced the cats hat and bag and added some faux stitching around the edge. I think I need to invest in a paper piercing tool I would love to add real stitching to my projects.

TRR Challenge #30 Strawberries and Cream

The challenge at The Ribbon Reel for this fortnight is to create a card or project using the colours in the inspiration photo below and to use ribbon and/or lace.

When I saw the colours and the picture I knew I had the perfect topper from Printable Heaven. I just love these little recipes.

This time I have used backing papers from Pink Petticoat and added a little piping bag made from an old sheet.  I have also tried to make my flowers look a little like strawberry flowers.  I have used a little lace on the pennants, added ribbon to the piping bag and down the side of my card.

The Pink Elephant - TPE52

As Father's Day is coming up I thought I better get started on some more cards.  So here is a card for my Father in Law as he likes his motor sport.

The papers are from Pink Petticoat and the decoupage car is one that I have had for a while and yet again more corrugated card.  I think I may have to stop using it for a while as my cards look like they are following a bit of a theme.

This card is for the The Pink Elephant Challenge. This week theme is masculine.

Vintage Rose

Here is another card made from the gorgeous Pink Petticoat papers mentioned in my previous post.

I used some more corrugated card, I love it some much. I put the card through my Bigshot, it squashes down a bit but I still love the look.  The sentiment is also from Pink Petticoat and I have added some lace and paper flowers.

This card is for the challenge over at Card Patterns sketch 169.

A Bouquet of wishes

Such a lovely morning, no rain.  Not sure it will stay like this though.  Over the weekend I treated myself to some papers from Pink Petticoat called Vintage Rose and I just had to try them out.

I have made this card for the challenge 48 over at A Gem of a Challenge.  Using the sketch below.

Shabby Beautiful

Another week and another gorgeous challenged over at The Shabby Tea Room.  This weeks theme is 'Shabby Beautiful' and to create a card or project inspired by the photo below and to use pink, aqua and neutrals plus flowers and make it shabby.

I have made a little pillow box. I think I was inpsired by the distressed look of the shelves in the photo so for the box I have choosen a paper with this effect.   I have used papers from Pink Petticoat called Perfect Papers.  The flower is made from a mixture of vellum and organza.  I have stamped the bird and used pink embossing powder.  I have added some pearls, ribbon and lace to finish the box.

Please check out the other Shabby Girls blogs for some gorgeous inspiration and join in the challenge.

Princess and the Frog

Its my daughters little friends birthday next week and she is also into princesses.  So I have made another princess card.

I am entering this into The Crafters Companion Monthly Challenge. - Challenge 25 - Time to Embellish.  The theme is to use lots of embellishment's.

Father's Day

Such a horrible wet day here in France so I have got out my craft supplies and set to work on a Father's Day card and here it is.

The papers I have used were given to me by a friend and I have used a square of corrugated card to add interest.  The sentiment is one printed out from my computer and I have added a couple of stars.

I am entering this card into Fairy Tale Challenge Blog.  The challenge is to create a card for a boy or man which I always find very difficult.

Time for Tea???

Hope everyone is having a lovely long bank holiday.  No bank holidays in France but we did watch all the celebrations on the TV and loved watching the Thames Regatta.

So I thought I would make a little tea party card inspired by all the street parties people will be having to celebrate the Jubilee.

I have used digi stamp and papers from Pink Petticoat which can be found HERE and HERE.  I have coloured the image in promarkers and added some handmade flowers where I have inked the edges slightly.

I am entering this into The Ribbon Girl card challenge.  The challenge is to use ribbon or lace so I have used a wide piece of ribbon to finish the card

Sweet Summertime

Well here it is my month long June guest designer spot with The Shabby Tea Room. I am so excited and honored that I will be sharing my work with the Shabby Girls.

This weeks theme is Sweet Summertime and to create a card or project inspired by the photo below using teal/aqua, brown and pink.

Here is my take on the challenge.

I have used papers and toppers from Printable Heaven called Yummy Cake Recipes.  I have then added a organza flower and some paper roses.  The stamped images are from Prima Printery.  I also added a little teapot charm,  I have had these for months and I was keeping them for my guest designer spot. When I saw the little teapot tea strainer in the photo I just I had to use it.  The sentiment flag is from Pink Petticoat and I have added a paper doily and some little bunting.

Please check out the Shabby Girls blogs for some fantastic inspiration.
