Star Stuff

Hello Everyone and welcome back to another Spellblogger post from Spellbinders.

I have a lovely card to share with you today using my favourite card kit from Spellbinders.
I have found the Galaxy Card Kit from the Card Kit Of The Month Club so versatile and it covers also kinds of occasions.  I still wanted to carry on creating positive feeling cards and I think this sentiment covers that as well.

I started with a square of the designer paper and I then used the star dies to cut in random places.  I then cut a smaller square from white card stock and added the sentiment sticker to the centre.

I then embellished the card using some more die cut gold stars, the leaves and the little tickets which are also in the Galaxy Club Kit.
I think so far I have made about 5 cards using items from the Club Kit and the box comes with enough craft supplies to make at least 10 cards.  There are card blanks within the kit but I have used square cards for some of my creations.
Thanks for stopping by today and please check out the Website at Spellbinders for more details about the Club Kits and join today.

For You With Love

Happy Weekend and what better way to start than crafting.
I have a little project to share with you this morning using the fabulous "Love Is" Through The Letterbox from Bubbly Funk.

As a previous project I made was some little hanging hearts I thought I would make a bag so that you could gift them to the one you love.
You can find my previous project HERE.

I started by making a little gift bag from kraft card stock.
I then added one of the doily's from the kit along with some gorgeous gingham ribbon to close the bag.

I also used a tiny tag and heart charm which is also included and stamped a little greeting onto the tag.

I finished my bag by adding a glitter heart and a single gem.
All the embellishments and ribbon I have used are all from the "Love Is" Through The Letterbox kit from Bubbly Funk.
Please head over to the Website to order yours and check out the Blog for more gorgeous inspiration from the Design Team.

DCM - Elemental Inspiration

Hello and welcome back to another elemental inspiration challenge from Daring Cardmakers.
As its Friday our lovely host Shabneez has this lovely inspiration picture for you.
Please remember to choose 3 elements from the above picture to create your card.
Its a great image this week lots of lovely things to pick from.
So for my elements I picked the colours, circles, texture, letters and sequins.

I started with a square of plain white card stock and I cut 2 circles and added the stitched part only for another using the Nestabilities Celebrations pierced circles.

I then embossed some blue card using an embossing folder called Horse Hair from Spellbinders and added this behind my die cut circles.

For the words I die cut the letters from kraft card stock using an Alphabet Die Set also from Spellbinders.
I then finished by stamping the second part of my greeting in black and I added some sequins.
To check out all the dies I have used on my project please visit Spellbinders for all the details.
Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely day.

More Positive Vibes

Hello and Welcome.
Today I wanted to continue with my positive vibes theme and I have another card to share with you.

Again I have used the very gorgeous Galaxy themed Club Kit.
I think you can tell how much I love this kit.

This time I mat and layered some of the plain card stock from the kit for my base.  I then made a little rosette and added one of the toppers that says "enjoy today".  I also used the swirl die and cut this from gold cardstock and tucked it behind my rosette.

I then attached one of the plastic toppers,  which is this beautiful medallion.
I used the large label die and cut this from gold cardstock and I also used the smaller matching label and added the vellum sentiment "You Go Girl".

Two of my best friends have big birthdays this year so something like this will be perfect to send to them.
Thanks for stopping by today and please check out the Website at Spellbinders for details about the Club Kit I have used.
There are other kits you can choose from or join the Card Kit Of The Month.

All the details on how to join the Card Kit Of The Month are over on the Spellbinders Website.

Positive Vibes

Hello and welcome to my corner of craftiness.
Well that's the Christmas decorations down and all back to normal.   So to start the year off in a positive way I wanted to make some cards to make you feel good.
I used the amazing Galaxy Club Kit from Spellbinders.
There is everything you need in these kits to make 10 cards.  The kit even includes foam squares and sticky dots.
To make my card I used some of the plain card stock and patterned paper from the kit.  I then used some of the dies included in the kit for the label and the stars.

I then finished with these lovely sentiment stickers which are also included.
I thought this card would be suitable for all occasions perhaps someone who is about to start a new job or just to tell someone that they are amazing.
Please check out Spellbinders for more details about this amazing kit and also the new release club kit for January.

Bubbly Funk Love is...

Hello Everyone.  Today I am sharing the lovely contents of this months Through The Letter Box from Bubbly Funk and also a sweet project using the box which is called "Love Is.."

As always it comes to you beautifully packaged in these little bags and your spotty one with a surprise inside.

This month we have lots of die cut hearts and some die cut words.

Lots of lovely ribbon.  I love all the gingham.

Beautiful buttons and some wooden shapes.

More white painted wooden hearts and some chip board shapes.

This was the contents of my surprise bag.  I love my British tea and of course lots of bling.

So after opening the lovely contents I got straight to work with my first projects.
I decided to make some hanging hearts to decorate the house ready for valentines.
I am so ready to be creating for other occasions now and this months box is great for the ones you love.
For my hearts I used the white washed hearts and inked around the edges in a bit of tea dye from Tim Holtz.  I then glued the smaller heart to the centre and added the little lock embellishment and finished with some of the gorgeous gingham ribbon.

For the second heart I used one of the white washed hearts and this time glued the little wooden heart to it.  I then added a little gem from my surprise bag and finished with more gingham ribbon.

For these projects I used only what was in the box and a little glue.
I have two little decorations ready for hanging.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to head over to the Bubby Funk website to order your box of "Love Is..."

Hello 2018

Happy New Year Everyone!!!

Today I am sharing my first card of 2018 and I have made my favourite, a shaker card.
I started with my base card and normally I would pick white but today for a change I went with grey.
Next I cut a square of grey card stock and die cut several hexagonal shapes to make my shaker part. I then added a piece of plastic and created little frames (about 6 layers) to stop the tiny star sequins from falling out.  I also glued some black and gold foil card to the inside.

I added a few die cut stars and enamel dots for decoration.

I then added a die cut greeting in black and made a drop shadow in silver glitter card.  I die cut the numbers from gold glitter card.  This could be a New Year resolution for me and maybe I will start to use coloured card blanks.  I love the grey with all the sparkle.
Here is a list of the products I have used to create this card:
Thanks for stopping by today and I wish you all the very best for 2018.
